On The Networked Energy Web: How The Convergence Of IT And Energy Can Remake The U.S. For The Better
Great overview on the technological leaps the electrical grid is experiencing and will experience. Much like the banking industry that was slow to adopt the power of IT; once it did, services for consumers greatly increased. So too will be the case for the grid. We must embrace network technologies, smart communications, renewables, intelligent distribution and security to not only advance the grid, but our way of life as well.
