On Deaths from Nuclear Energy Compared with Other Causes
There haven't been and probably won't be any deaths due to radiation from the Fukishima accident. The radiation levels most people experienced were 20 millisieverts or less. Bob, I think it's a matter of education. Yes, it would be great if Congress and the President would read my piece. Kirk Sorenson deserves credit for being the best educator on MSRs. I heard him say that the reason MSR's didn't catch on in the 60's is because they didn't have an advocacy group behind them. They do now, thanks to Kirk. And here's a bit of good news, the MSR's won first place at the Dept of Energy's innovation summit awards.
