Actually it would have been exactly the same.

The Key is having "well designed" power generating plants of whatever genre, sensitively sited.

Its also about Developers, again of whatever genre, actually listening to people's fears and worries, not being rude and dismissive of them, and working with local people to achieve a better all round understanding - which may  lead to compromises on design. Riding arrogantly and rudely over local opinion does not create a win/win situation.

A Developer coming in roughshod does not do anything to allay many people's justifiable concerns. All it does is further fuel the fire of distruct, and suggests that there is much to hide. Even Vicky acknowledges that the impacts must not outweigh the benefits!!

This is not NIMBYism, this is NIMBYOAE's       Not in my back yard or anyone elses ...until there is greater clarity, which can only come with truthfulness, something some developers and their representatives need to learn and understand!!!
