Some homes can be designed to save energy. This one, in the Washington, D.C., suburbs is so well sealed and insulated that is requires no expensive heating or cooling equipment. It uses building techniques to keep the air inside comfortable year round. The energy costs are reduced by 90 percent by using triple glazed windows and rigid foam insulation, and making sure there are no leaks in window seams. The windows also are designed to make maximum use of sunlight and shade for heating and cooling.

This is amazing, I am thinking about the investment and the return of the investment. If you build a new house you couldn't possible prefer another option. I already have a home and now I am thinking about insulating my bathroom walls, it's quite chilly in there in the winder, now I'll know where to start. Oh, and I am changing the decor as well, I've already picked the bath vanity, I hope I'll find insulated windows colors that fit...willem Post said:
