I'm pleased to announce that there's a new set of hands on The Energy Collective team. Rebecca Lutzy has joined us as Content and Community Manager.

Rebecca has expertise in environmental policy, science, and technology, with a focus on climate and energy issues.  She is a consultant at GreenOrder, a sustainability consulting firm, where her clients have included General Electric and a large utility company.

Previously, Rebecca was a Summer Fellow at the Climate Center of Natural Resources Defense Council in Washington, DC and worked on federal climate and energy policy. Past experience also includes working as a management consultant at Katzenbach Partners LLC (now Booz & Company), where she advised a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical client on strategic planning and led the redevelopment of an on-line team assessment tool.  She has also worked as a field ecologist in Costa Rica, Panama, northern California, Maine, and Antarctica.

Rebecca is completing Ph.D. research in the Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy program at Princeton University, and holds an M.P.A. from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School.  She is a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellow, and received her undergraduate degree, in ecology and evolutionary biology, from Brown University.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Rebecca. You can reach her at rebecca@socialmediatoday.com.
