Dan Reicher, Director Climate Change and Energy Initiatives at Google.org and co-chair of ACORE, is key-noting.  He's talking about the "energy efficiency industry" -- is there such a thing? He's citing the plug-in hybrid, which companies like SCE and PGE were talking about in early nineties.... Jeffrey Sachs talks about them as well, and I suppose that's because it puts the energy production back into the consolidated power industry, where carbon emissions are more easily controlled.
