It is with great pleasure that I provide a somewhat tardy welcome to what might become one of the most referenced energy information sources in the blogosphere. Ted Rockwell has decided that it is time to try his hand at "new media" and share his 60+ years worth of energy industry experience at Learning About Energy.

As a veteran of the Manhattan Project, the Nautilus project, the first 15 years of Naval Nuclear Power, and more than 30 years as a partner at MPR Associates, a well respected engineering firm, Ted Rockwell has had the opportunity to forget more about energy than most people know. However, at age 87, he is keeping his cranial electrons flowing by writing books and articles, speaking and conversing. Now he has decided that blogging fits in with his other efforts!
