Alex is a Renewable Energy Policy and Project Development Analyst with GP Renewables & Trading in New York City. In this role, Alex advises the firm's clients operating in the renewable, retail and wholesale power markets on federal, state and local policy issues pertaining to renewable energy. He also leads various project development activities to evaluate renewable and clean energy project investment opportunities for his firm and their investment partners. In Solar, Alex is leading the development of a new business line for financing and deploying small- to mid-sized commercial and industrial solar projects.
A Shell Future Energy Fellow, Alex holds an MPA in Economics and Energy from Columbia University and a BA in Economics from Bucknell University. He has five years of corporate finance and fianncial management consulting experience in the United States and Latin America. Alex is a Co-founder and the CEO of 118 Capital, a New York-based impact investment organization. He also serves on the Board of CreaNexus, a web start-up based in Uruguay.
