Geologist With a PhD in geochemistry. 5 years in exploration with BP. 7 years at the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA). 25 years at the European Commission (mainly working on energy issues). Established DMT Energy Consulting in 2009 after retiring from the Commission.

Follows Clean Coal Technology,  carbon capture and storage (CCS) and all aspects of nuclear energy (in particular radioactive waste management).  Very interested in international co-operation on energy issues and climate change.
