Nari Soundarrajan is currently wrapping up his doctoral degree in Energy Engineering while consulting for clients in the combustion and natural gas production industries (Tansa Tech LLC). He has worked in the areas of mutiphase flow, coal gasification and fluidized bed combustion in laboratory and industrial research settings, designing and conducting several experiment projects.
His entry into the energy field came as a realization that his interests in energy use efficiency and conservation were much more than microscale fluid mechanics. His background is in naval architecture and mechanical engineering and most recently, ash chemistry. In his free time, he experiments with the chemistry of spices, blogs on nutrition, yoga, industrial energy and also about horse racing.
