Over two decades ago I switched from defense R&D to renewables in order to embark on a more meaningful career path and to contribute to making the world more humane and livable. For environmental, economic, social and national security reasons I favor a switch to an all renewables grid and a mostly renewables transportation system by 2050. While I consider myself a free market capitalist, I feel that we do not know how to monetize many aspects of energy. This necessitates that an objective, pragmatic approach be used that combines the tools of government and free market capitalism in order to acclerate the transition to renewables.
I am a physicist / Engineer. I founded Heliotronics, Inc. to develop educational products that integrate live renewable energy data to teach about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) - See www.solarlearninglab.com and www.heliotronics.com
Prior to founding Heliotronics I was an inverter designer.
