Matt has nearly a decade of communications expertise in technology, climate and start-ups. With a flair for the memorable catchphrase, a deep writing background and a strong technology understanding, Matt shines in converting complex ideas into compelling communications.
Matt previously led marketing and communications for ACE: Alliance for Climate Education, developing messaging around thorny climate change topics. He also directed campaigns for SanDisk, the Wikimedia Foundation, Ricoh Innovations, and several tech start-ups, and worked on Adobe’s thought leadership campaign on engagement. He speaks regularly about communications and marketing at venues such as SXSW, NetImpact, Dreamforce and NTEN. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in ethics, politics and economics from Yale and is a published novelist.
