Reid Capalino is an energy professional based in New York City. Reid currently works on a wide range of energy issues at both the global and local levels.
At the global level, Reid serves as the Senior Analyst for Energy Transition Advisors, where he examines energy market trends (particularly the transition away from fossil fuels) on behalf of clients in the not-for-profit, public, and commercial sectors. At the local level, Reid serves as a Senior Advisor at Capalino+Company, where he helps emerging clean energy companies to develop new business opportunities in New York City.
Reid's previous experiencse in the energy space includes positions with (or projects for) Deutsche Bank Climate Change Advisors, the Generation Foundation (part of Generation Investment Management), the Investor Network on Climate Risk, the Carbon Tracker Initiative, the US Partnership on Renewable Energy Finance, Solaria Corporation, the Solar Electric Power Association, and the New York Independent System Operator.
Reid holds Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Reed College.
